Massage seats have some type of a foot and calf massaging mechanism. Some seats may have the calf massage, but the majority of them have some type of lower extremity massage function. These calf and foot massaging mechanisms are referred to as an ottoman. Some ottomans are made to have the foot and calf massaging mechanism all-in-one and fully attached as a single solid unit, such as the Human Touch Act ouch HT-9500 massage chair and the Omega Aires, but others have the foot detached from the calf massager, thus facilitating the capacity of a taller person to stretch their legs out by stripping out the foot section of the ottoman, which makes it parallel to the massager for the calf. An example of the form of foot and calf massager is the Panasonic 30007.
The down side with such a use of this foot massager is the foot massager ends up massaging the sides of the user’s ankles. Inada has found a happy medium accordion-like attachment between the foot and the calf massagers, allowing a taller person to just extend their longer legs with the foot massager staying vertical to the calf massager. The majority of the foot and calf massagers use airbags to make the effect. Each producer has its own set up of the airbags to provide their own feel, but the gist of each massager for foot and calf is the airbags compress the feet and calves in 1 form or another. Some compression occurs all at once, but others inflate in a sequence mode so that it seems just like the airbags are rolling up and down the legs.
A number of massage chairs claim to have rollers in the feet bottoms. The feet wind up getting the exact same sort of treatment that the back does using the back rollers. I feel among those King Kong chairs and the Elite Optima have the foot rollers in addition. Human Touch claims their HT-9500 massage chair has paddles from the ottoman that produce a very distinctive sense when you use that seat. That seat, based and in my opinion in, gets the foot and calf massager of all the massage chairs we have seen. It’s a terrific experience for your feet.
